It’s Time – For His Glorious Harvest

How many here in our State, have been praying for what is to come? Sensing something is on the horizon? Claiming that they will see the day of what Joel and Peter spoke about – “In the last days He will pour out His Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see (divinely prompted) visions, and your old men shall dream (divinely prompted) dreams- even on my bond-servants, both  men and women, I will in those days pour out my Spirit- and they shall prophesy” (and we, here in this State, would not be excluded because of slowly and more and more sliding back from the truth of His Word instead of being the Soldiers and Warriors He created us to be for such a time like this!). It goes on in what we will see in the sky before the “Glorious day of the Lord would come” and ends with that beautiful promise: “And it shall be that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord ( invoking, adoring, and worshipping the Lord Jesus, shall be saved( rescued spiritually!” (Acts 2:17-21)

Are we ready? Can we dare to believe His Word?

Here a good checklist of what true revival looks like! Check yourself and those you work with, if you can get ready for this. If so, getting united around this, is our only hope or we might miss the greatest opportunity God is presenting before us!

Here a heart cry from a dear Reverend. “It’s our moment to spearhead the Revivals of Revival starting now in our own land. Let us not wait or disconnect but pray and fast as it’s time to cry out to our Father in Heaven. If Revival is here, then let us gather together and pray and seek God with all we got, so His Power may manifest and shake the nations. This is the moment when we need to cry out loud, allow no sleep or slumber but only His name on our lips. Our spirits groaning and crying out. Let us not miss this moment but let us be a living sacrifice on the altar so His Fire can fall because our offering is acceptable and holy to Him. This is the moment…wait not- fail not, here it is…see from your physical eyes into the realm of the supernatural. NOW is the Time. Now is…Now.”

Let us ignite The Fire of Revival…Blood & Fire. 12 Signs of Revival

He notes the signs of revival in this passage:

1 EMPHASIS ON JESUS (ACTS 2:36). In Acts 2, Peter preached to the crowd gathered at Pentecost about Jesus Christ, being crucified, dead, buried, and raised from the dead as Lord and Messiah. When revival comes, Jesus becomes the top priority for Christians.

2 REPENTANCE (2:37-38). In revival, people experience conviction for their sins and repent and change their lifestyles. They not only walk away from patterns of sin, but they turn their attention away from petty entertainments to spend more time in pursuit of God.

3 A PASSION FOR PRAYER (2:42). Revival creates in people a new desire to pray, worship, and meditate on God. Sometimes, even in sleep, the prayers continue as God clears away our distractions and speaks to us in dreams.

4 HUNGER FOR THE WORD (2:42). When revival comes, people want more of the Scriptures, more personal reading and study, and more exposure to preaching and teaching.

5.A BURDEN FOR THE LOST (ACTS 2:40). Because of the conviction of sin that comes with revival, people realize that others are lost because they are more aware of their own sin and their being lost without Jesus. In revival, we can no longer be content to let people live without being confronted with the love of Christ.

6.INCREASE IN SALVATIONS (ACTS 2:41, 47). Along with the new burden for souls comes a marked increase in salvations and new believers.

7.A SURGE IN CALLINGS TO MINISTRY AND MISSIONS (ACTS 4:20). During revival, people sense God’s calling to Gospel service, whether in vocational ministry or in greater consecration of their daily work life in what others would see as secular settings. (Do you see the logical flow of these phenomena?)

8.THE MANIFEST PRESENCE OF GOD (2:40, 43). God is always present, but in revival, God’s presence becomes obvious among us—whether in conviction of sin, healings and signs and wonders, or reception of the gift of the Holy Spirit.

9.GREATER GENEROSITY TOWARD THE WORK OF GOD (2:45). Church offerings and other manifestations of personal giving to the work of God greatly increase during revival.

10.GREATER FREQUENCY OF CORPORATE GATHERINGS FOR WORSHIP AND PRAYER AND THE WORD (2:46). Not only do the number of church activities increase, but Christians begin to meet in homes and at restaurants and other venues to spend time together to share how God is working in their lives.

11.INCREASED FELLOWSHIP AMONG CHRISTIANS (2:46). In revival, God’s people experience greater love for one another that draws them together frequently and attracts unbelievers to their community.

12.FAVOUR WITH THE COMMUNITY (2:47). While the early Christians saw favour with “all the people”; that did not include the Sanhedrin and the Jewish leaders, who immediately began to persecute them (Acts 4:1). Both favour and opposition arise when revival begins. Mockers will always arise when revival occurs, and opposition from people in power also increases. But the joy of God’s favour trumps any form of persecution or opposition.

If you want to be in this spear head moment this Reverend writes about, get on your knees with fellow believers. Prepare personally, as well as with your family, your village, your church, your team, your workplace, wherever you are placed for what might be the greatest harvest and become a torch light to the rest of this nation- May God grant us another chance to make this land what He intended it to be and what our precious Lord and Saviour lived, suffered, died and got resurrected for so He might now live THROUGH us to bring in His greatest Harvest, that truly belongs to Him.

If we stand for “Nagaland for Christ”, let it be no more a mockery but a truthful statement! And pass the torch to those around us and our State and nation!
