Inter-departmental seminar held at Sao Chang College
DIMAPUR — The Research Committee, in collaboration with the Alumni Association of Sao Chang College, successfully conducted an inter-departmental seminar on Friday through a hybrid mode.
The seminar, chaired by Dr. S Arenla, assistant professor of Botany, had two scientific sessions based on recent researches in multidisciplinary area.
The first presenter, Dr. Parimal Chandra Bhomick, an alumnus of Sao Chang College and assistant professor of Chemistry at St. Joseph University, Chümoukedima, highlighted his recent findings on sustainable delivery of agrochemicals through online mode.
The second presentation on the topic “From abundance to waste: The challenge of effective resource management in Yangpi village” was delivered by Takumpuba Lomou, assistant professor of English.
The presentation was followed by an interactive session.
The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Soyimla Akum, assistant professor of English.
