Industries department holds workshop for budding entrepreneurs
DIMAPUR — In a significant move to support and nurture the entrepreneurial spirit of Nagaland, the Department of Industries and Commerce, in collaboration with IBIS Solutions, Kolkata, successfully conducted a comprehensive workshop for budding entrepreneurs in the state in Kohima on Friday.
The workshop titled ‘Awareness workshop: an experiential learning programme,’ provided aspiring entrepreneurs with valuable insights on unlocking their latent potential and understanding market dynamics, an update stated.
The event included interactive sessions led by Rajib Bal, MBA (HR-admin head), corporate lecturer and consultant, covering topics like professional development, market strategies and group-based project presentations.
In his address, Ikheshe Kahoto, assistant director of Industries and Commerce, emphasised the importance of nurturing innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.
The workshop was part of the ongoing efforts by the department of Industry and Commerce, to foster a strong start-up ecosystem in the state.
“By offering practical insights and mentorship, the workshop served as an important platform for networking, skill-building and learning,” the update stated.
