DIMAPUR — Advisor for Industries and Commerce, Hekani Jakhalu, said on Thursday that one of the biggest concerns for Nagaland is the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

She, thus, called upon the officers of various departments to collaborate and improve the state’s SDG ranking, according to a DIPR report.

Addressing the Chümoukedima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for July, which was conducted at the DC conference hall, the advisor said that Chümoukedima, as a new district, has many advantages and that it is up to the district officers to devise plans for the district to perform better than the older districts, which face their own challenges.

She encouraged the board members to reflect, work together as a team, and make an effort to transform Chümoukedima into a positive district.

During the meeting, the house discussed the registration of Emerald School, Chümoukedima, and the society registration of V Movi Institute of Fashion Designing, which the members deliberated and approved.

The house also approved the LADP 2024-25 for Ghaspani-II A/C.
