Health minister inspects health centres in Mon district

DIMAPUR — Minister of Health and Family Welfare, P Paiwang Konyak, along with the commissioner and secretary, principal director and officials of Health department inspected the primary health centre (PHC) in Changlangshu in Mon district on Friday.

The minister is currently on a state-wide tour. He had visited Dimapur, Mokokchung, Longleng and Tuensang districts. The minister along with other officials visited Tobu CHC, Changlangshu CHC and Aboi CHC.

During the visit at the health centres, the minister had in-depth discussion with the officials and discussed on the CMHIS and Ayushman Bharat scheme. He also reminded the medical officers, nurses and the staff to re-commit themselves in serving the needy people.

The minister and his team would inspect the Mon Medical College and the District Hospital, Mon, on Saturday.
