Haircutting and cooking training in Zunheboto concludes
KOHIMA — A two-month haircutting and cooking training programme concluded in Zunheboto on Thursday, following a brief programme at the Assam Rifles camp.
According to a press release, the training was organised by Green Club Zunheboto in collaboration with Assam Rifles Zunheboto, and certificates were given to the trainees for successfully completing the training, during the culmination programme.
Tavinto K. Sumi, president of the Green Club, thanked the Assam Rifles in his speech for collaborating with the club in providing self-development skills to the people, enabling them to start their own businesses.
He also said that a new saloon under the club banner would open soon in Zunheboto town with local barbers, and he requested the Assam Rifles to extend their help once again for setting up the saloon in the town.
