Fund raising programme for disadvantaged children held in Zunheboto

DIMAPUR — The Child Protection Committee of Natha Old Village and Amiphoto Colony in Zunheboto district jointly organised a fund raising programme to support economically disadvantaged and physically challenged children at Zunheboto public ground on August 15.

The event, held under the Development Association of Nagaland’s (DAN) Morung Project, was aimed at raising funds for school fees, stationery and dry rations for the children, an update from the organisers stated.

The initiative was seen as a vital effort to ensure that every child in the community has access to the resources needed for academic and personal development.

Report further stated that the successful event marked a significant step towards enhancing the lives of children in need within the district.
