DIMAPUR — The Food Safety Mokokchung Zone organised a Food Safety Training and Certification programme for food business operators at Orchid Café, Zunheboto, on Monday.
Anup Kumari Tewari, a Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI)-empanelled trainer, was the resource person for the training, according to a press release.
The session was aimed at participants from restaurants, cafés, and home-based food manufacturers.
It was mentioned that the certification equips food business operators with essential knowledge to ensure quality and safety at their workplaces, fosters behavioural change, and promotes a culture of food safety.
