Farewell programme held for outgoing Kiphire DC
DIMAPUR — A farewell programme in honour of John Tsulise Sangtam, the outgoing deputy commissioner (DC) of Kiphire, was organised on Wednesday at the DC conference hall.
According to a DIPR report, addressing the gathering, John stated that he had given his best in discharging duties during his short stay in Kiphire and would continue to serve the people with the same sincerity and commitment wherever he may be placed.
He expressed his gratitude to the public, the officers, and the leaders for their cooperation during his term.
John also welcomed Temsuwati Longkumer, the incoming DC, commending the officer as sincere and dedicated. He expressed that by extending full cooperation with the new DC, the people of Kiphire can achieve significant progress for the district.
During his address, Longkumer highlighted the poor road conditions and emphasised that Kiphire, being one of the remotest parts of Nagaland, requires good roads and transportation for progress and development.
The new DC also asserted his commitment to working for justice and sought the cooperation of the people.
