Dr Disrespect teases Midnight Society’s upcoming game with billboard ad
Popular Youtuber Dr Disrespect revealed a massive billboard ad in New York City’s Times Square to promote Project Moon, an upcoming battle royale game from his studio Midnight Society.
Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV, better known by his online alias Dr Disrespect, is an American video-game streamer that has millions of followers on Youtube and was, at one time, one of Twitch’s biggest streamers before being unceremoniously banned from the platform. The Two-Time is known for his all-action high-explosive streaming entertainment and is hugely popular in the online gaming community.
Dr Disrespect took to Twitter on Saturday to reveal a stunning billboard ad in New York City’s Times Square. He wrote, “Good bye NYC. Wow wow wow wow what a city.“

In the Twitter post, the billboard ad can be seen showing Midnight Society’s logo before fading to black and ending with the words “Enter the existence. July 29.“
It is no secret that the Two-Time wants to take his career to the next level. He wants to move up from being a successful streamer to becoming the founder of a successful game development company. The Doc has experience in game development as he was involved with Advanced Warfare as part of Sledgehammer Games before switching his career to content creation.
In March, Dr Disrespect revealed that he would be releasing a new battle royale game with his studio, Midnight Society. However, he received some backlash from his fans for revealing that his upcoming game will use non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Project Moon’s NFTs will be part of its gaming pass feature called Founder’s Pass.

Prepare for an onslaught of content starting with the selection of the first 10k Founder Variants.
Within weeks of gaining access, these Variants will be dropping into the first playable Snapshot of Project Moon – then off to LA! [Thread] pic.twitter.com/gcUKsqoQgN
The Doc also revealed that Project Moon will be different from other battle royale games in terms of its verticality. The game will revolve around the premise that the building has caught fire on the bottom level and so, players would be forced to move up vertically. Like all battle royale games, players would need to eliminate their opponents all the way to the top until he or she is the last one left alive.
It’s unclear what kind of teaser we can expect on July 29, however, we can be sure that Dr Disrespect will finally give us more information about his upcoming game. Needless to say, we are expecting some violence, speed and momentum from the 1992-1993 video-game blockbuster champion.
