Dimapur — In continuance of its relief works, the Diocese of Kohima through Development Association of Nagaland (DAN) distributed food provisions to the Kuki people affected by the Manipur violence and presently taking shelter in different villages of Sunghlu-Athibung area.
On July 11, the diocese provided dry rations worth INR 1,96,580 to more than 200 people in taking shelter in seven different villages, an update stated.
“The relief work aims to alleviate the suffering and provide essential resources to those who have been forced to leave their homes due to the conflict,” it stated.
