DIMAPUR — The Dimapur Commissioner of Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of the repair works on a sinking portion of the National Highway-29 (NH-29), Airport Junction (Near City Tyre Service), at 3rd Mile, scheduled to be undertaken from July 18 to the 25th.
During the repairs, the sinking portion of the highway will be closed off, and all vehicles proceeding towards Dimapur shall only be allowed single lane access from the airport junction, read the advisory issued on Wednesday.
It urged all commuters to avoid overtaking, parking, or stopping along this stretch while work is underway and advised commuters to exercise extreme caution, particularly at night, when travelling through the repair zone.
