DH Zunheboto conducts training on fire safety

DIMAPUR — As part of its disaster management initiatives, District Hospital Zunheboto, in collaboration with the Fire Service and Emergency Department, Zunheboto, conducted a one-day training on fire safety measures.

An update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Zunheboto, stated that the training was aimed at enhancing readiness and safety protocols among hospital staff.

It stated that doctors and staff actively engaged in the hands-on training session, which included demonstrations on operating fire extinguishers and handling fire hazards involving gas cylinders.

The session was led by the fire service personnel under the guidance of ASI Boto V Achumi, who shared critical expertise on fire safety management.

Meanwhile, the District Hospital authorities expressed gratitude to the Zunheboto Fire Service department for providing the valuable training and for equipping the hospital with essential fire safety skills and knowledge.
