Dimapur, Sep. 13 (EMN): An additional quarantine centre for Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel was inaugurated by Randeep Datta, PMG, IGP of CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland and his wife Ritu Datta, regional president of CRPF Wives Welfare Association in Manipur and Nagaland on September 10 at the battalion campus in Kohima.
The centre has provisions of Covid care equipment, infrared thermometer, oxymetre, oxygen cylinder, medicines, face mask, hand sanitiser, hand gloves, PPE kit and other facilities, an update informed.
The IGP apprised that quarantine and isolation facilities are already available for the CRPF personnel in Nagaland.
He also informed that more quarantine facilities will be extended in coming days to accommodate maximum personnel to allow the state Covid centre to facilitate local populace.
Ritu Datta sensitised the personnel’s families about positive thoughts, stress management, health care and preventive measures of coronavirus. She also distributed sanitisers and other items to them.
It may be mentioned that Datta has rendered immense contribution to the destitute and labourers during this pandemic crises by distributing foods, rations, hygiene kits, and water supply to remote areas.
