Conservationist provides supplies to Intanki National Park frontline staff

DIMAPUR — Conservationist Dr. Shailendra Singh provided field supplies, including water filters, portable solar lights, rain gear, tents, headlights, etc., to frontline staff at Intanki National Park (INP) in Peren on Sunday.

According to an update from the INP Field Director, he conducted a study on Asian giant tortoises at the park last year. In acknowledgement of the support of the staff on the tortoise conservation project, in November 2023, he organised a fundraising campaign for his birthday to help purchase gear for the staff at the park.

During the campaign, he and his team from TSA Foundation India also met with the Chief Wildlife Warden of Nagaland and the Director.
