Co-ordination meeting for Mini Hornbill Unity Festival held in Peren
DIMAPUR — A co-ordination meeting and work distribution for the upcoming Mini Hornbill Unity Festival, to be held in Peren district from December 5 to the 7th, was held on Monday at the DC’s new district headquarters in Peren.
DC Peren, Hiazu Meru, highlighted that the Mini Hornbill Unity Festival for Peren district is being organised to strengthen and promote unity in the district, according to an update.
Meru informed that the festival’s official programme will be held at the DC office complex, while other programmes will take place at Zero Point and Beikingpuichak, located below the DC office.
In the meeting, it was decided to construct a community morung each at the DC office complex and at Zero Point, Beikingpuichak. The house also approved to have riverside camping during the three-day festival.
Among others, the meeting was attended by officials and representatives from the NZPO, Zeliangrong Baudi, Zeme Council, Liangmai Council, Kuki Inpi and Rongmei Council.
