DIMAPUR — The District Employment Office and DEF Phek, in collaboration with Phek Government College (PGC) and the Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union, organised a career guidance programme for civil service aspirants and provided awareness on the NCS portal on Thursday.

The event was held at PGC with Dr. Pritpal Kuar, Superintendent of Police, Phek, Neithozo Theunuo, EAC (P), and W Balong Phom, EAC (P), serving as the resource persons, according to an update.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kuar elaborated on the various tools and textbooks to be used while preparing for civil service examinations and advised aspirants to think like a teacher setting a question paper when studying the pattern.

She also emphasised the importance of choosing a limited number of books and mastering them. Additionally, she reminded the students to refrain from substance abuse and to work hard while maintaining firm faith in God and themselves, regardless of any setbacks in life.
