DIMAPUR — The Chokri Area Mothers’ Association (CAMA) has strongly condemned the murder of Rüchüvolü by her husband, Sepratso Venyo, of Thüvopisü Village on May 31 and state that such act of violence should not be tolerated.
It stated that the heinous act of violence against Rüchüvolü has left the community in shock and mourning. As an association dedicated to the welfare and safety of all individuals, especially women and children, CAMA stated that it would not remain silent in the face of such brutality.
It demanded swift and decisive action from authorities to ensure that the perpetrator is brought to justice and punished to the fullest extent of the law. The association also called upon law the enforcement to conduct a thorough investigation, while it urged the judicial system to handle the case with the utmost seriousness.
The association affirmed its stands against domestic violence and committed to spreading awareness and creating a safer environment for all women.
It further conveyed condolences to Rüchüvolü’s family and friends.
