DIMAPUR — The Bharat Scouts & Guides (BS&G), Wokha, has inducted the deputy commissioner, Vineet Kumar, as the district president and senior SDEO, Z Chanbemo Kikon, as the district secretary during an induction ceremony held at the DC conference hall in Wokha on Friday.
Speaking at the induction programme, Kumar expressed his appreciation for being a part of the great movement and inducting him as the district president. He has sought the support and cooperation from all the members in order to do good work and continue upholding the name and principle of the institution, stated a DIPR report.
He expressed hope that with the support from all, they would be able to strengthen the organisation. He also encouraged the young students, who are part of the BS&G, to be dedicated as their participation in the movement would guide them in becoming a responsible person in future.
The induction programme was conducted by Zuchanthung, district organising commissioner (G), while the programme was chaired by the EAC-cum-district commissioner (G), Rosy Sangtam.
During the programme, BS&G of DBHHS presented a song.
