BJP Nagaland pays tribute to Captain Kengurüse

DIMAPUR — The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland State, on Wednesday, paid tribute to Captain Neikezhakuo Kengurüse at Nerhema village, Kohima.

The programme was attended by national secretary and spokesperson and prabhari of Nagaland Anil K Antony, Minister of Higher Education and Tourism Temjen Imna Along, state officials, the state social media and IT cell, the Kohima district president, colleagues, and senior party leaders.

The team also visited the War Memorial Museum and interacted with the family members of the war hero, according to a press release.

On the same day, in Dimapur, the BJP Nagaland conducted a ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ event at the BJP district office, Dimapur. The event was addressed by state president Benjamin Yepthomi, Anil K Antony, and Minister of PHED and Cooperation Jacob Zhimomi.

Subsequently, a silent march in remembrance of the sufferings of Indian people during the partition period was also held.
