Assam Rifles organises ‘A day with the company commander’ in Peren

DIMAPUR — Assam Rifles organised ‘A day with the company commander’ on Wednesday at Pedi, Peren district, with 30 students from Peletkie Primary School, who received a first-hand glimpse into military life.

According to an update, the event featured a flag hoisting ceremony, a motivational lecture, awareness about joining the armed forces, interactive games, and a tree plantation drive.

The plantation drive emphasised the importance of environmental conservation, with students and military personnel working together to plant trees.
