DIMAPUR — Deputy Commissioner of Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, has informed all concerned parties that ALIMCO (Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India), a Government of India undertaking in coordination with the District Administration of Mon, will conduct assessment camps to identify divyangjan/persons with disabilities (PwDs) individuals with disabilities in need of aids and assistive devices.
According to a DIPR report, the assessment camps will be held in various blocks of Mon district, as follows:
Tizit Block: Tizit PHC, July 24, 10 am, nodal officer: Dr. Taliwati Ao (9402869005).
Wakching Block: Wakching CHC, July 25, 10 am, nodal officer: Dr. Chingyen Konyak (8974139823)
Aboi Block: Aboi CHC, July 26, 10 am, nodal officer: Dr. Nungshikokba Imchen (9612316317)
Chen Block: Chen PHC, July 27, 10 am, nodal officer: Dr. Nungshikokba Imchen (9612316317)

The DC further requested and informed all PwDs in the respective blocks, villages, and colonies to attend the camp as per the schedule, bringing an Aadhaar card, one passport-sized photo, an income certificate (showing an annual income equal to or below INR 2,50,000), and a UDID card or an acknowledgment number-cum-medical disability certificate indicating 40% or more.
