Advisor Yhome visits schools in Noklak, Shamator
DIMAPUR — Advisor of School Education and SCERT, Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, along with officials of the School Education department, visited Noklak and Shamator districts on June 19 and 20.
On June 20, the advisor held a meeting with the Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC), Khiamniungan Students’ Union (KSU) and landowners of GHSS Noklak and Model School at KGBV Danlepdong ward in Noklak town, a DIPR report stated.
Report stated that the two MLA of the district namely P Longon and Benei M Lamthiu also attended the meeting.
The advisor also visited Government Higher Secondary School, Noklak, and interacted with the teachers.
Yhome was accompanied by the commissioner and secretary of School Education and SCERT, Kevilenuo Angami; principal director of School Education, Thavaseelan K; SAMAGRA state mission director, Temsunaro Aier; additional director, Razouseyi Vese; SAMAGRA joint mission director, Dr. Kevi Rio; deputy directors namely Erali Swu and Avino Tase; senior accounts officer, Lamnya Khiam, among others.
He also visited the International Trade Centre (ITC), Dan, and Straightway Mission School in Dan village and held a meeting with the village council members and Pangsha Area Students’ Union at Dan village council hall.
After his Noklak itinerary, Yhome also visited Government Higher Secondary School in Shamator district on June 20.
During his meeting with the teachers, the advisor appealed to the teachers to give their best for the welfare of the students without considering the area of posting.
He was accompanied by advisor of Youth Resources and Sports, Keoshu Yimkhiung, MLA Benei M Lamthiu and officials from the School Education and SCERT.
