Advisor Yhome seeks collaboration to streamline education system
DIMAPUR — A consultative meeting of the Ao frontal organisations, churches, and Ao Reju (Ao Literature Board) with the Advisor for School Education and SCERT, Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, was held at the DC conference hall in Mokokchung on Saturday.
The purpose of the interactive discussion session was to share views and suggestions for the rationalisation of the education system in the state, stated a DIPR report.
While sharing the overall scenario of the education system in the state, Yhome stated that bringing about positive changes requires the rationalisation of the education system.
Mentioning the difficulties and challenges faced by the department, he said that any problems can be resolved and overcome with active collaboration from all stakeholders in the state.
To this effect, he said all stakeholders must consult with the department with their suggestions so that initiatives can be implemented to address the challenges, which he believes will help streamline the system and improve the quality of education in the state.
Earlier in the programme, a short speech was delivered by the president of Ao Senden, Marsanen Imsong, and a welcome address was given by the District Education Officer, Sentinenla.
The vote of thanks was proposed by senior SDEO Mokokchung, Tinumayang. The programme was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji.
