She assured that both the CDI and the Sakhi-One Stop centres are committed to offering ongoing support to domestic workers and to advocating for their well-being.
Chishi elaborated on the role of Sakhi-One Stop centres, emphasising their dedication to aiding women impacted by violence. She highlighted that the centres offer a range of services, including medical assistance, assistance with filing FIRs at police stations, legal aid, temporary shelter for up to five days, and psycho-social support.
She informed the audience that in case they encounter any difficulties, they can seek assistance by calling the women’s helpline at 181, and the centres would promptly respond to their needs. Additionally, she mentioned that Sakhi-One Stop centres are operational in all districts of Nagaland except for Chumüokedima and Niuland.
