Police sports meet: Football, bugle competition mark 3rd day

A football match underway on the third day of the ongoing Nagaland Police Duty-cum-Sports Meet in Chümoukedima.

DIMAPUR — On the third day of the ongoing Nagaland Police Duty-cum-Sports Meet in Chümoukedima, football league matches, volleyball league matches, and bugle competition took place.

In the football matches, six games were played among different groups. In Group C, 4 NAP defeated 14 NAP (IR) with a score of 4-1. In Group D, 7 NAP defeated DEF Mon 2-1. In Group B, CP Dimapur triumphed over IG (INT) with a 2-1 victory.

In Group C, 1 NAP defeated DEF Mokokchung 3-1. In Group A, DEF Kohima defeated 12 NAP (IR) 3-1. In Group B, DEF Tuensang defeated DEF Wokha 2-0, stated an update.

In the volleyball matches, in Group B, 4 NAP was defeated by CP DMR with scores of 25-18 and 25-19. In the same group, DEF ZBTO was defeated by DEF MKG with scores of 25-10 and 25-15.

In Group A, DEF Kiphire defeated 7 NAP with scores of 25-16 and 25-23. In Group B, 4 NAP was defeated by 8 NAP with scores of 25-16 and 25-22. In Group A, DEF Peren was defeated by 14 NAP (IR) with scores of 25-22, 25-14, and 25-23. In Group B, DEF Mokokchung was defeated by CP Dimapur with scores of 25-17 and 25-18.

In the bugle competition, all the units participated. The final results saw DEF Kiphire securing first place, 1st NAP taking second place, and DEF Phek finishing in third place.

The official opening ceremony will take place on November 14 at 11:00 AM at the NAPTC Ground.
