DIMAPUR — The Regional Ayurveda Research Centre (RARC), Dimapur, organised a one-day training programme on “CCRAS standardised Prakriti assessment scale, Ayur Prakriti web portal, and pharmacovigilance awareness programme” at the conference hall of Dimapur CMO office on Saturday.

The event focused on enhancing the understanding and implementation of standardised Prakriti assessment and promoting awareness of pharmacovigilance, stated a press release.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Limatula Aier, chief medical officer, Dimapur, in which she emphasised the importance of pharmacovigilance in Ayurveda and the role of digital tools like the Ayur Prakriti web portal.

It was followed by an address from the in-charge of RARC Dimapur, Dr. Vilas Gangurde, research officer (Ayurveda).

The event also included two training sessions conducted by resource persons from CCRAS, offering practical knowledge on Prakriti assessment and its relevance to Ayurveda. A hands-on training session on the AYUR-Prakriti web portal was also provided through a demonstration case study.

The training programme aimed to advance the integration of technology in Ayurveda and promote the responsible use of Ayurvedic medicines through pharmacovigilance.
