Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed on airing of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ this month
DIMAPUR: Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed all heads of registered institutions of the Board that the Prime Minister’s popular monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ will be aired in April. “In this connection, MyGov, which is the Government of India’s citizen engagement platform, is inviting suggestions and ideas from all the citizens across the nation for the episode, with the objective of making it more inclusive and meaningful so that it leaves a long-lasting impression,” NBSE stated in a circular. In order to facilitate the submission of suggestions from across the society, the MyGov platform has prepared banner and standee designs having QR code/ IVR (toll-free no.). The board requested all heads of institutions to visit the website and also inform the students, teachers, and employees to actively participate in submitting their suggestions.

Tseminyu DPDB meeting on April 13
Tseminyu District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting will be held on April 13 at 12 pm in the official chamber of DC Tseminyu. All the DPDB members and officers of the district have been requested to attend the meeting, an update from DIPR stated. Elder Line Nagaland (National Helpline for Senior Citizens) has been invited to give an orientation on Elder Line-14567 for senior citizens, it added.
GPRN/NSCN convenes regional worker’s meeting
The office of Union Territory (UT), GPRN/NSCN (Unification) has convened an emergency regional worker’s general meeting on April 13 at 10 am at Tatar Hall, CHQ, Naga Unification Camp, Khehoyi. “As such, all the Regional workers under Union Territory (UT), GPRN/NSCN are informed to make it convenient to attend the meeting without fail on the stipulated date and time,” the MIP, GPRN/NSCN stated in a notification.
Phek DPDB meeting, felicitation programme on April 12
The Phek District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting cum felicitation programme in honor of the newly elected legislators of Phek district will be held on April 12 at 11 am in the DPDB Conference Hall. The deputy commissioner and vice chairman DPDB, Phek, Kumar Ramnikant has requested all its members to attend the meeting without fail, an update from DIPR informed.
P&C dept. renamed Planning and Transformation
The Governor of Nagaland has issued an order to change the nomenclature of the present Planning and Coordination department to Planning and Transformation department. According to an official bulletin, the change of nomenclature is in pursuance to the Cabinet approval notification on March 9, 2023.
Training on DDO-wise sub-allocation, e-pay bill
All the Heads of Department (HoDs) have been informed that there will be training for official dealing with DDO-wise sub-allocation and e-pay bill on April 12 at 11 am in the Treasury directorate conference hall. The training is necessitated as the new application is being introduced for DDO-wise sub-allocation from Financial Year 2023-24, a DIPR report stated. The departments have been requested to depute two officials for the training along with laptops.
Combined Easter Sunrise service held at Seluophe Model village
The Miqlat Ministry (Nagaland Baptist Church Council Women Department) in collaboration with United Christian Church, Chakhesang Baptist Church, Baptist Revival Church, Christ King Church of Seluophe village and Gorkha Baptist Church of Singrijan village, held its first-ever combined Easter Sunrise Service on April 9 at the Amphitheatre, Seluophe Model village. This was informed by the director, Miqlat Ministry, in an update.
KEW elects new office bearers
The Koio Ekhung Wokha (KEW), during its general meeting-cum-election held on April 8 at Officers’ Colony, elected its office bearers for the tenure 2023-2026 led by Lumbemo Ngullie as chairman, O Renjamo Kikon as vice chairman, Senchumo Ngullie as secretary, Rungcho Ezung as joint secretary, Roland Kikon as finance secretary, Y Tsenthungo Kikon as treasurer, Zubemo Kikon and Senlamo Kikon as advisors. The organisation has thanked all its members and well-wishers for their constant support and participation during the past three years.

Nagaland IBO committee visits Mon blocks in Indo-Myanmmar border
The International Border Organisation(IBO) Seemanta Chetana Mancha Purvotta Nagaland Committee visited three blocks of Mon district that are situated along the Indo-Myanmar border on April 3, 4 and 5th. The committee, led by its President S Kihomong Yim and General Secretary Shomwang Wangnao visited the Phomching, Chen and Tobu blocks. The reason for the visit was to review, inspect and understand the current scenario of the international border.
