DIMAPUR, OCT. 18 (EMN) — A total of 66 videos from different categories have been nominated for the 16th Music Awards of Nagaland (MAN), with the grand finale event to announce the winners to be held on Nov. 16 at Lorin Hall, Tetso College, Chümoukedima.
The event is organised by Native Trax Society along with Musik-A Events. The entries for the awards commenced on September 30 and concluded on October 15.
The award ceremony includes seven main categories - Rock, Hip-Hop/R&B, Gospel, Regional/Folk Fusion, Pop, Open Category and Song of the year, and six sub categories - Best Music Video, Best Producer, Best Upcoming Artist/Band, Best Lyricist/Song writer, Best Sound Engineer and Lifetime Achievement Awards.
It was informed that the nominated videos will be showcased on MAN’s social media platforms starting October 25, and the judging will be based on composition, originality, performance, sound engineering and production
The judges for the finale are Aditya Pushkarna, music producer and arranger, Hitesh Rikki Madan, musician and founder of AAHRMb, and Among Jamir, professional session musician.
