World’s best and worst passports in 2023: Japan, South Korea, Singapore in most powerful passport list

Kohima, Jan. 24 (EMN): Japan tops the list of most powerful or best passports in the world, allowing visa-free entry or with visa-on-arrival to 193 destinations, followed by South Korea and Singapore in the second place with the visas of both the countries enable access to 192 nations without restrictions, according to latest Henley Passport Index.
Japan has topped the list of world’s most powerful passports for the fifth consecutive year.
The Henley Passport Index, which is a global ranking of countries according to the travel freedom enjoyed by the holders, had included 199 passports and 227 travel destinations for this year’s ranking published on January 10.
Updated quarterly, Henley Passport Index is considered the standard reference tool for global citizens and sovereign states to assess passport rankings on the global mobility spectrum.
