DIMAPUR — With an objective to strengthen its activities towards promotion of Tenyidie language, officials from Ura Academy visited the Tenyidie Learning Centre (TLC) in Razeba under Phek district on Wednesday.
A press release from the Academy stated that the team was led by its vice president, Daso Paphino, along with the secretary general, Dr. D Kuolie; joint secretary, Dr. Metseilhouthie; and coordinator, Diethosilie Chakrünuo.
A brief programme was held at TLC, Razeba, led by Dr. Zavise Rume, convenor of Tenyidie Learning Centre, Razeba, while an invocation prayer was said by Rev. Akha Shupao, pastor of Zhavame Baptist Church, and the welcome address was delivered by Bonyi Zholia, assistant headmaster of GHS Razeba.
It stated that a representative from Razeba Public Organisation shared greetings, while a song was presented by Tenyidie teachers and duet by Rakovine Krocha and Daniel Lea.
The release further stated that the Ura Academy team donated almirah, chairs, computer sets and a printer for the TLC Razeba to enable and enhance the learning activities.
