Tenyidie music album released in Kohima

Kohima, Dec. 21 (EMN): ‘Bayie Kro-u’ a three member band from Rusoma village– Vitouzo Zuyie, Thepfüneituo Talie and Zapusatuo Pfukri– has released a Tenyidie album on Dec. 21.

The album was released by Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu, Chairman of Nagaland Khadi and Village Industries Board (NKVIB) at Vivid Lounge in PR Hill Kohima.

Speaking during the release, Keditsu expressed his happiness for the band’s successful.

He said song plays a crucial role in preserving one’s language and a source of learning while citing that it preserves culture, history and tradition.

He encouraged the members to keep going and inspire younger generations.

Zapusatuo Pfukri shared that he was formerly band of ‘Dzüluokro’ and his two other co-members were from ‘Vükhukro’ and they conglomerated as ‘Bayie Kro-u’ as the earlier bands members owing to their own personal engagement could not come together much.

The released album consists of 11 original songs.

He said the album comprises of songs appreciating the beauty of a woman, heartbreaks and a song dedicated to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio too.

The Album comes in the form of portable- Pendrive.

The music was arranged and recorded by Aseu Chadi, drums by Khrielezo Keretsu and the manager was Khotuo Medom.

Earlier, two songs from the album was presented by the band and the programme was chaired by Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) president, Kekhrie Pfukha.
