DIMAPUR — St. Xavier Higher Secondary School (SXHSS) in Shamator held its first alumni meeting on December 20.
An update from the school stated that the meeting began with an invocation prayer said by the school vice principal, Fr. Christopher, and a welcome addressed was delivered by the principal, Rev. Fr. John Latsutho Poji.
During the meeting, an office of alumni was created and new office bearers were also installed.
The principal blessed the newly elected office bearers and assured them every support and assistance to the alumni fraternity in the coming days.
The principal also exhorted the members to uphold unity and uplift the spirit of oneness and cooperation within the association and always get connected with the institution.
It mentioned that Xavierites Alumni Association has a total member of 333 students from the batch of 2016 to 2023.
The programme concluded with a benediction said by Sr. Sheena, vice principal.
