DIMAPUR — The 48th general conference of the Sumi Aphuyemi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SAKK) concluded on Friday with Ngukato K Tsuipu, junior section officer at Nagaland Civil Secretariat and chief operating officer of Dream Catcher Coaching and Training Centre, Kohima, as the guest speaker.

An update from the union stated that the speaker left a lasting impression on Aphuyemi students by emphasising the profound purpose behind their existence and highlighting the dual significance of their culture as both an identity and an economic asset.

It stated that Ghunavi Kinimi, SDO of Water Resources, also delivered insightful message by urging Aphuyemi students to be stewards of nature by appreciating its rich diversity. He also emphasised the importance of cultivating a positive mindset in pursuing their goals.

Meanwhile, Joshua Sheqhi, advocate at Guwahati High Court, Kohima Bench, encouraged the Aphuyemi students to dream big and have confidence in God, while Hutoli Shohe Hekato, assistant headmistress of Government High School, Aghunaqa, also shared valuable insights as a guest speaker.

The union also elected Hutoka Assumi as president, K Tovi Sumi as general secretray along with other executive members from 24 units for the tenure 2024-2026.
