DIMAPUR — The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) on Thursday expressed anguish at the gruesome murder of Ahoa Konyak, Chairman of the Action Committee, Tizit Area Students’ Union (TASU), who was allegedly hacked to death on Thursday at Namsa, Tizit by a suspected drug peddler.

It said befitting punishment must be awarded to the culprit and the concerned authority should immediately set up all measures to curb the inflow of drugs and other illegal substances “which is corroding the morale of the youths and the Naga society at present”.

The Federation further extended deepest condolences to the bereaved family members of the departed leader and extended solidarity to the TASU in its “noble crusade against social antagonism and other anti-social elements”.
