No HSLC compartmental exams this year, reiterates Nagaland board

Kohima, July 22 (EMN): Following rumours doing the rounds about High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) compartmental examinations, the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) reiterated on Thursday that the said exams won’t be conducted this year.

The board had notified on July 20 that the HSLC compartmental examination would be conducted together with the main HSLC examination 2022 in view of the unprecedented situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It also informed that the eligible candidates would be given the option of appearing in all the subjects too.

Regarding fake information circulating on social media about supplementary examinations for HSSLC, the NBSE clarified that it doesn’t conduct compartmental or supplementary examination for the higher secondary level or HSSLC.
