NFR issues new stoppages for trains

DIMAPUR — For the convenience of rail travellers, additional stoppage for two minutes has been provided on trains Sealdah-Agartala Kanchenjunga Express (train no. 13173) from Oct. 6 and Agartala– Sealdah Kanchenjunga Express (train no. 13174) from Oct. 7 at New Maynaguri station. And the stoppage of train no. 13163/13164 (Sealdah-Saharsa-Sealdah) Hatebazare Express has been provided at Eklakhi station from Oct. 7.

An update from Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) informed that Dr. Jayanta Kumar Roy, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) flagged off the Kanchenjunga Express with new stoppage at New Maynaguri station, West Bengal and Khagen Murmu, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) flagged of the Hatebazare Express with new stoppage at Eklakhi station.

Sealdah-Agartala Kanchenjunga Express will arrive New Maynaguri station at 7:16 pm and depart at 7:18 pm. In return journey, Agartala– Sealdah Kanchenjunga Express will arrive New Maynaguri station at 6:05 am and depart at 6:07 am. Sealdah-Saharsa Hatebazare Express will arrive Eklakhi station at 5:04 am and depart at 05:06 am, and in return journey train, Saharsa-Sealdah Hatebazare Express will arrive Eklakhi station at 9:58 pm and depart at 10:00 pm.

The update further informed that the new stoppages of trains will provide another option for rail commuters of the areas for their journey with the state capital.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available at IRCTC website and through NTES and social media platforms of NFR.

Passengers have been requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
