Dimapur: Several dignitaries, including Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Deputy CM Y Patton and state BJP president Temjen Imna Along have greeted the members of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) on its Foundation Day.
The NDPP, which was founded by the incumbent CM on May 17 2017, managed to form the government in Nagaland with its pre-poll ally BJP within one year in 2018, before retaining the power by winning the Assembly election held in February this year.
Taking to Twitter, Rio wrote: “Greetings to all rank and file and well-wishers of the NDPP on its Foundation Day. Today, we celebrate our mission, vision and goals and reaffirm our commitment to serve all sections of the society.”
Patton, who is also in-charge of Home and Border Affairs, tweeted: “Greetings and best wishes to all rank and file of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party on its Foundation Day.”
“Conveying my greetings to Hon’ble CM Shri Neiphiu Rio Ji, President NDPP Shri Chingwang Konyak Ji, dedicated workers & well-wishers of NDPP on the occasion of its 6th Foundation Day. May you continue to serve all sections of the society with utmost dedication,” wrote Imna Along, who is also the minister of Tourism and Higher Education.
