Nagaland University (NU) on Wednesday notified that the undergraduate odd semester examinations will be conducted online as scheduled in view of the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic.

The controller of examinations had on December 10 issued a notification informing that the odd semester examinations for various undergraduate courses -- Bachelor of Arts (BA)/ Bachelor of Science (B.SC) / Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM)/ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) / Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) -- of 1st, 3rd and 5th semesters would start on January 18 and conclude on February 4, 2021.

It also informed that a detailed guideline for online examination will be issued shortly.

It may be mentioned that the All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) had earlier requested the university to conduct the undergraduate odd semester examinations via online considering the current situation. It also sent a representation to the chief secretary of Nagaland on Wednesday to intervene on the matter, but the Nagaland University announced the mode of examination on the same day.
