DIMAPUR —Two officials from Nagaland, Mhonsao Ngullie and Purna Konyak, achieved the top rank (Rank 1) in the National Federation State Technical Official Examination. The exam was conducted from September 22-24 in six states across India with Nagaland as the examination centre for the northeast region. The results were declared on October 16.
Informing this in a press release on Tuesday, the Nagaland Athletics Association (NAA) also shared that a total of 17 technical officials of Nagaland Athletics have cleared the State Technical Official Examination. It’s a proud and historic moment for state and athletics community, it said while congratulating the successful technical officials from the state and across India.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]It also expressed appreciation to the Athletic Federation of India and the Nagaland Olympic Association for their continuous support and guidance in making the examination successful. Meanwhile, in its effort to promote and uplift its technical officials, coaches and athletes, the NAA informed that it would conduct more courses for officials in the future and encouraged all interested persons and sports lovers to be part of it. The Nagaland Senior Open Athletics Championships 2023 organised by NAA is also scheduled to be held on November 16-17 at IG stadium, it informed while calling on athletes to register themselves for the championship
