JD (U) leaders to arrive Nagaland

Dimapur, Oct. 3 (EMN): The Janata Dal (United), Nagaland, has stated that a host of JD (U) leaders will be arriving from New Delhi and Patna on October 7 to oversee the preparation of the All Nagaland Bihari Conference to be held on October 11 at DDSC stadium, Dimapur.  JD (U) Nagaland in an update informed that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will grace the conference as chief guest.  The JDU leaders include Bihar minister of Rural Development, Shravan Kumar; Lok Sabha MP Kaushlendra Kumar; Lok Sabha MP and JD (U) national general secretary Ramprit Mandal; JD (U) national general secretary Dhananjay Singh; Lok Sabha MP Sunil Kumar Pintu and minister of Minority Welfare, Bihar, Md. Zama Khan, it stated.

ANGTF executive meeting on Oct. 6

Dimapur, Oct. 3 (EMN): The All Nagaland Graduate Teachers Forum (ANGTF) has convened its executive body meeting on October 6 at 11 am at CANSSEA office, Kohima. ANGTF in an update informed the meeting has been convened to discuss matters relating to seniority list of graduate teachers 2022, down-grade of graduate teachers pay structure, denial of MACP and the ongoing court case. GPRN/NSCN national revival crusade

Dimapur, Oct. 3 (EMN): The Council of Nagaland Churches (CNC), GPRN/NSCN has convened a three-day national revival crusade on the theme ‘Heal our Nation’ from October 7 to the 9th at council headquarters (CHQ) church, Naga Unification Camp, Khehoyi. The organising committee of the crusade in a press communiqué invited every member of GPRN/NSCN from the civil set up and Naga Army to attend the programme “with humble submission for the cause of the Naga nation and to receive benevolent blessing from the Almighty God.”

Cleanliness drive at Kachari Rajbari

Dimapur, Oct. 3 (EMN): The Dimasa Youth Organisation Nagaland (DYON) in collaboration with Jantati Vikash Samiti Nagaland (JVSN) organised a cleanliness drive at the Kachari Rajbari, Dimapur, as part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. According to an update, the cleanliness drive was initiated with the motive of adopting healthy sanitation practices and maintaining hygiene. Youths and students of 10 Dimasa Kachari villages along with JVSN members participated at the event, it stated.

YAKK general meeting on Oct. 5

Dimapur, Oct. 3 (EMN): The Yelatu Assümi Kughuko Küqhakulu (YAKK), a union of the progenies of Yelatu Assümi, has convened  a general meeting with the theme ‘Rooted to past, united for future,’ on October 5 at 9:30 am in the residence of Hokishe Assümi, retired director, Industries & Commerce, Chekiye village, Dimapur. An update informed that Advisor Pukhayi Assümi will unveil the ‘Family tree of the progenies of Yelatu Assümi.’ Commissioner of Income Taxes, Dr. G Hukugha Assümi and K Hokishe Assümi will also address the gathering. Dr. Vihuto Asümi, chief editor of the research and editorial board, will highlight the research findings. Chairman, YAKK, Zhekugha Assümi, will chair the meeting, it stated.
