Nagaland: Miscreants torch vehicle in Chakhabama

Kohima, Jan. 31 (EMN): Unidentified miscreants torched a Maruti Alto at Zero point, Chakhabama under Kohima district on Monday night.

Sources from Kohima Police confirmed to Eastern Mirror that the incident took place around 6-7 pm, and a case had been registered at Kezocha Police Station.

It added that the case was ‘ruled out’ as election-related violence.

The incident is learnt to have been related to the Kezoltsa-Dzukuo (Koziirii-Dziiko) land dispute between the Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) and Mao community.
