DIMAPUR — As Nagaland prepares to co-host wrestling as part of the Khelo India University Games from February 22 to the 26th, a co-ordination meeting was held at IG Stadium, Kohima on Saturday.
Chairing the meeting, secretary of Youth Resources and Sports, Anthony Ngullie called upon all the stakeholders to give their best for the success of the games, a DIPR report stated. He also stated that the state was lucky to co-host such games on a national-level.
Various agenda such as transport, accommodation, catering, security and other logistics were highlighted and deliberated by the house. Members of various committees shared their work progress and shed a light on their activities. Officials from various government departments such as Youth Resources and Sports, Transport, Power, PHE, Police etc., including an official from the Sports Authority of India, attended the meeting.
