Nagaland Film Forum Production’s ‘Once Upon a Time in Nagaland’ now out on YouTube

Produced under the banner Nagaland Film Forum Production, the Nagamese feature film ‘Once Upon a Time in Nagaland,’ which was released last year, has now been re-released on its official YouTube channel on Tuesday.

The release programme was held at Europa Inn, Dimapur, on January 17.

Speaking at the event, chief guest Wekok Konyak said that film industry in Nagaland has just begun and requires the support of both the government and the people of the state while adding that the development of the industry in Nagaland will further result in the creation of jobs for talented individuals.

Atea Konyak, the film’s director and producer while agreeing with the opinion of chief guest on creation of jobs said that film industries in general have potentials to create many job opportunities. However, he stated that, in order for the industry to grow, Nagas must value the art and recognise that being a commercial filmmaker is not an easy task.

Konyak lamented and blamed the people of the state for constantly choosing representatives who do nothing for development of film industry in Nagaland.
