DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified that the provisional results of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations 2023 will be declared on May 24 afternoon.

The NBSE informed that the results along with marksheets/pass certificates will be made available to all the institutions registered with the board in printed form, while soft copies will be available on the board's official portal www.nbsenl.edu.in.
The Nagaland Board also informed that the results of HSLC and HSSLC examinations 2023 can be accessed from several websites, namely: www.nbsenl.edu.in; www.results.shiksha; www.indiaresults.com; and www.exametc.com.
The board went on to inform that “Android Mobile result app” will be available in the PlayStore without specifying the name of the app. However, it could be “NBSE Results 2023” which is currently available for download on PlayStore when this newspaper checked in.

However, the NBSE informed that the documents will be issued to the centre superintendents only on May 29 and 30. In this regard, the centre superintendents have been asked to collect and distribute it to the schools under their centres during the specified period. They can also authorise another Centre Superintendent to collect the documents on their behalf if they are not able to do so.
It further informed that district-wise schedule for collection of documents will be made available in the board's portal www.nbsenl.edu.in and district WhatsApp groups.
It may be mentioned that a total of 24361 candidates, comprising 11197 boys and 13164 girls were eligible to write HSLC examination, which was held from March 10 to the 22nd.
For HSSLC examination, a total of 16084 students, comprising 8473 girls and 7612 boys, were enrolled (Arts – 12431, Commerce – 1214 and Science – 2439). The exams were held from March 9 to the 31st.
