Dimapur, Aug. 6 (EMN): President of Nagaland BJP and minister of Higher Education and Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along, has called upon the party workers to stand firm and focus on the growth and development of the party in the state.
Speaking at the executive meeting of 13 BJP Pughoboto mandal on August 3 in Pughoboto town, Imna Along appreciated the Pughoboto mandal under the leadership of Dr. Sukhato A Sema for the rapid progress made towards the growth of the BJP. He has lauded the members from the mandal for their commendable job in assisting the needy during the Covid pandemic and encouraged them to continue working with the same zeal in future.
An update from the party stated that he has assured full support to the Pughoboto mandal and expressed his confidence in Dr. Sukhato A Sema to take the party forward.
Imna Along also highlighted the achievements, programmes and policies of the Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the centre for the welfare of the people. He also welcomed leaders from other political parties, who have recently joined BJP to support Dr. Sukhato.
Short speeches were delivered by Kuputo Shohe, state BJP chief spokesperson, and Dr. Sukhato A Sema, former BJP candidate.
Later, an interactive session was held with mandal office bearers, mandal executive advisors, morchas office bearers where Subenthung Kithan, state BKP vice president, has highlighted on BJP government’s welfare schemes for citizens, progress of the party in the state and also exhorted the party workers.
After the interactive session, the members reaffirmed ‘Each one, win one’ for the 2023 state general elections.
