Naga People’s Front distributes tickets to 15 candidates in first phase; more to follow on Feb. 5
The Naga People’s Front (NPF) on Friday distributed party tickets to 15 candidates for the upcoming Nagaland Assembly election scheduled to be held on February 27.
Here is list of candidates:

The party said that more tickets will be given away to candidates in the second and final phase of distribution on Sunday evening.
The NPF also released its election manifesto at the party’s Central Office in Kohima.
NPF President Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu released the manifesto in the presence of NPF Legislature Party Leader Kuzholuzo Nienu, other party leaders, officials and members.

*Rule of law and justice in state governance
*Total transparency and accountability in socio-economic development
*Proactive removal of imbalances in development
*Transformation of state’s socio-economic development scenario
*Transformation of state’s rural life quality and economy
*Expand employment opportunities for youth
*Special women empowerment programmes
*Upper age limit for appointment in government service to be raised to 40 years.
