NACRYF to hold music fest on January 7

KOHIMA — The 6th triennial music fest of the Northern Angami Christian Revival Youth Fellowship (NACRYF) will be held on January 7 at Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima.

This year’s event will be hosted by Christian Revival Church (CRC), Kohima village, on the theme “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.”

Speaking to media persons during a press conference on Wednesday, NACRYF president, Pelevotuo Solo; organising committee member, Situo Kelio; NACRYF music secretary, Zapu Mere; convenor of organising committee, Kethosetuo Sachii; and event show director, Khriezo Suokhrie, informed that a total of 28 churches would take part in the fest. The organisers informed that an approximate 1500 youth from Northern Angami region would participate in the event.

It was informed that the services would be held at 10 am and 2 pm respectively and be telecast live on Youtube.

“This year we look forward to re-ignite the faith of our youths through music,” said the organisers as the event would feature choirs of various churches and groups, solo, male voice, female voices, double quartet and quartet.

On Sunday morning service, Rev Vichulie Kelio, pastor of CRC Kohima village, would be the speaker, while the service would be led by Visakholie Rupreo, advisor of NACRYF.

Later in the evening, Kevilelie Zhale, treasurer of NCRCYF, would exhort the congregation.
