MP from Nagaland to address World Forum 4.0
Kohima, July 1 (EMN): Nagaland’s Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), KG Kenye is among the speakers who will address the World Forum 4.0 (WF4.0) scheduled to be held from October 20-21 this year.
Kenye will be sharing the stage with other global leaders, government ministers, political leaders, business leaders and CEOs, who will be speaking about the transformation processes of the fourth Industrial Revolution.
There will be 33 speakers from various countries like Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Spain, Paraguay, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Tunisia, Panama/ Netherland, and Sri Lanka among others, wherein Kenye is the lone speaker from India.
World Forum 4.0 (WF4.0) 2021 is an international forum of experts, political leaders, CEOs, managers, governments, companies and organisations linked to the fourth industrial revolution wherein the sessions will focus on post-pandemic life, digital platforms and technology that will play crucial role for economic recovery and securing the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) especially among the developing countries.
The event will be held virtually with a central forum and eight thematic discussion forums, in which experts and public figures will share their knowledge in the areas of creative industries 4.0; marketing and communication 4.0; government 4.0; society 4.0; woman 4.0; law and global regulations 4.0, as well as a space for free topics that will be addressed in the free forum 4.0.
This year’s event will be hosted by Fundacion Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) and organised by International Federation of Multimedia Associations (FIAM), Social International University and Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), while it will be supported by UNCTAD, UNOSSC, UNITAR, ECOSOC, Argentina UNIDA, COMEX etc.
Leonel Fernández Reyna, former president of the Dominican Republic and pesident of FUNGLODE – Global Democracy and Development Foundation, is the honorary president of the organising committee for the World Forum 4.0 (WF4.0).
Meanwhile, the organisers in its introduction of the speakers highlighted Kenye as a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) India since 2016, who has been part of various important committees of the Government of India that includes his association with committee on information technology.
His credentials as MP included — served with Urban Development Commission May 2016 – May 2019; Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Energy and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, September 2017 – May 2019; Information Technology Committee October 2018 – November 2019, the General Purpose Committee from September 2019 to date; the committee on Food, Consumers and Public Distribution from October 2019 to date; and the advisory committee of the Ministry of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj.
Through the participation in this platform, WF4.0, Kenye will not only represent the state and the Northeast region (NER) but also the entire country to highlight and share the perspective of rural-dominated population so that the sustainable development goals (SDGs) in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 would benefit the masses.
