DIMAPUR — Commemorating the conclusion of The Silver Vision (TSV) project, the three silver queens of Miss Sümi 2022 constructed a bus stand at North Point Colony, Zunheboto, which was inaugurated on February 19.

It was dedicated by Dr. Hutton Sumi, Pastor of Sümi Baptist Church, Zünheboto, and inaugurated by Ichirangbe Zeliang, Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering department, Zunheboto division, according to a press release.

It was mentioned that TSV commenced with a ‘Beauty with a purpose’ project by the three silver queens on the theme, ‘The silver vision for a greener progression’.

The project was officially launched on September 29, 2023. In the first phase, the silver queens organised a friendly competition among the 11 sectors in Zunheboto, aiming to beautify, sanitise, and promote sustainability in the environment.

The winning sector was awarded a cash prize to further fund their environmental initiatives.

Subsequently, sanitation drives and plantation initiatives were conducted throughout Zunheboto town. TSV also collaborated with the Miraculum Society to renovate Zunheboto Government Middle School. Following this, it organised the Green Carnival in Zunheboto, aimed at further beautifying the town.

According to the press release, the three are now preparing to form an organisation named The Silver Vision Organisation in order to grow their work in the future.
